I'm a teacher trying any resource. I need a copy of the TV edit version of Shawshank, like the TNT or TBS versions shown years ago. I use the film with Hawthorne's The Scarlet Letter; students perform an intertext comparison analyzing parallel theme, characters, and motifs. Years ago, I used my own DVD copy of the original and students still remark that it was the more interesting, involving, and effective learning experiences they had with me. Unfortunately, my school's standards have changed and I can no longer use the R version in the classroom.

Help!
