There are many Stephen King books that I like. I am not a fan of horror writing or films, but I do like a few of Kings. My favorite Stephen Kings books are the non-horror stories. I like everything in Different Seasons (Shawshank, Stand By Me), a lot of the short stories (Night Shift), the Green Mile, Hearts in Atlantis and a few others.

I love the way that King creates such powerful descriptions of the characters. I seem to see their perspective in the story so much more when reading Stephen King.
